You can sync your webmail account with Outlook.com or Hotmail, which gives 50GB free storage space per account. To do so:

1. Log in to your Outlook/Live/Hotmail account.

2. Click on the gear icon on the upper right part of the mailbox page and choose Options

3. On the sidebar, click on Mail > Accounts > Connected accounts. Select Other email accounts then  enter the details of your @yourdomain.com email address. Tick the Manually configure account settings option.

4. Select POP/SMTP connection settings.

5. Configure the settings as below. You can find your email configuration settings here. Note that for our example below the website has SSL certificate installed.

Incoming (POP) server: your incoming server
Incoming Port: 995 (if SSL installed) or 110 (SSL not installed)
Outgoing (SMTP) server: your outgoing server
Outgoing Port: 465 (if SSL installed) or 25 (SSL not installed, use 587 if 25 doesn't work)
Username: full cPanel email address
Password: password for your email account

  • Untick 'Leave a copy of messages on the server' to save web hosting acount email quota
  • Set the Encrytion to SSL if there is SSL installed, and TLS or None if not
  • Select 'Send email using your provider's server' to send your email as coming from you@yourdomain.com
Click OK.

6. You will get the account connected message. Click OK to proceed.

7. You've done it! Your webmail is now connected. You can now use Outlook/Hotmail/Live to send or receive emails as though you are using your own webmail. When you send or reply email there would now be a drop-down menu letting you to choose which email address (Outlook or webmail) you want the mail to appear from.
