63 characters is the maximum number of characters for a domain name. A valid domain name can have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 63 characters. You
can use any combination of the 26 letters in English alphabet, numbers
from 0 to 9 and the "-" (dash) character.
It is however a good idea to have a shorter domain name so that it is easier for your customers or visitors to type in and remember.
