Keeping email safe from spam
is a priority a lot of people share. But no matter how careful you are, as soon as you create a new email account,
there are risks that someone will send you spam messages. It is unrealistic to expect your email address to
remain spam-free forever, but you can definitely reduce spam.
To do so, you can try enabling SpamAssassin from your cPanel. Under the heading Email, click on Spam Filters and enable it.
On the other hand, many spammers harvest email addresses from websites. You should not place your email address on your website in the format of myemail@domain.com. This is a sure way to increase SPAM. A good method is to put it in the format of myemail (at ) domain.com. For some however it might look unprofessional, so a contact form is instead recommended.
