How can I setup a catch-all email?

When customers send you emails that are misspelled or misaddressed, you could be losing business. Luckily, there's a way to capture these messages sent to your personal email address: a Catch-All email account.

With Catch-All email, every message that is sent to a non-existent @yourdomain.com email address is caught and delivered to one central mailbox that you designate. In this way you will never miss out on potentially important email messages from your customers.

To setup a Catch-all email, go to your cPanel, under the Email heading, click Default Address.

Choose the option Forward to Email Address and enter the email address you wish to setup as a Catch-All email.

All emails sent to a non-existent email address on your website will now be forwarded to the Catch-All email.

Please be warned however, that having a catch-all email opens the way for spammers who can now deliver spams to anything-in-the-world@yourdomain.com, knowing they will all get to you. If you did not intend for this do not create a Catch-All email or choose the Discard option above.
